ONQPI’s advance private investigator training offered through our training center can help you earn your private investigator license in Illinois. The course leads to a Certificate of Completion of the required subjects relating to the field of private investigations.

This course is designed to give an individual advance knowledge thorough practical exercises on what it takes to become a private investigator.

  • The cost of the One (1) day session is $425 plus $75 for material/handouts/Comprehensive Study Guide.
  • Cash, Credit Card or Money Order accepted.
  • Students must register one (1) week prior to class by calling 773-697-4249.
  • Classes are held at 3004 W Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60618.
  • Classes are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • A deposit of $100 is required to secure your seat for the class at registration.
  • The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you miss the class. A credit will be issued for a future session.

    1 Day Advanced Course Content:

    BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH

    You will learn how to discretely examine a person’s past including criminal history, education, assets, income, lifestyle, and reputation. In a background investigations, you’ll learn how to piece together an “information chain” that results in a complete profile of the subject.

    SKIP TRACING AND LOCATING MISSING PERSONS

    You will learn the latest tactics to find anyone for any reason, and how to ethically and legally get people to divulge confidential information on the whereabouts of others.

    SURVEILLANCE AND SURVEILLANCE PHOTOGRAPHY

    You will learn the same tactics used by Government agencies to follow subjects in an ordinary manner so that subjects will look right past you. You’ll learn hundreds of surveillance tips, including the latest GPS and unmanned remote surveillance technology to track a subjects every move from the comfort of your laptop computer.

    LEGAL INVESTIGATIONS

    You will learn how to write dynamic reports and give professional testimony in court by giving only responsive answers and avoiding common objections.
