KANSAS CITY, Mo. —A smash-and-grab at a Northland Best Buy store netted thieves an estimated $30,000 worth of electronics.

The heist happened just after 2 a.m. Kansas City police said the thieves crashed a Jeep into the store near Interstate 29 and Tiffany Springs Parkway and began grabbing computer equipment.

Authorities said the three people were in and out of the store within 3 minutes. They got away by using another vehicle parked in back of the store.

Store officials have turned over surveillance video to police.
